  1. I Will Sing of Your Love, Love, Love
    By: Christopher Grundy

"I Will Sing of Your Love, Love, Love" was commissioned by the Missouri/Mid-South Conference of the United Church of Christ to support the "Three Great Loves" campaign of the UCC, but any congregation can enjoy singing it. This easy, upbeat song has a simple, easy-to-learn format and a refrain that gets in your head and stays there. Based on Psalm 89:1, the song is fun to sing, and will work with a full band or just piano or guitar. It would work well for opening of worship, close of worship, or other places where you want to have some fun. The verses focus on three types of God's love, and our love for each other: love of neighbor, love of children, and love of creation. An optional descant can add complexity to the song, as well as an emphasis on working for, "a just world for all." Learn More

  2. Leaning In
    By: Christopher Grundy

This gentle, sung prayer of intercession invites us to pray for others while breaking down the sense of “us” and “them” that is often the pattern of such prayers. The congregation can sing just the refrain (especially at first while they are learning it) or the whole song. “Leaning In” also moves us toward a prayer of intention, focusing on our intention to join in God’s ways of healing, justice and love that are already at work in the world. Rather than emphasizing petition, assuming that our prayers will cause God to act, this song invites us to join in the work that God is already doing. Congregations often find this song to be both moving and a refreshing change in perspective. One License #CGLI2013 Learn More

  5. Waiting For You
    By: The Many

This is a brand new song for Advent 2016 from The Many.  We're really excited about this one!  So timely in light of all that's going on in the world right now.  This beautiful, singable, easily accessible song could work as an anthem, a congregational song, or a solo.  It taps into the Advent themes of waiting and longing for God to come, act, and bring about Divine justice.  And yet it is also a call to action, love, service, and hope while we wait.

Thanks for another GREAT song Gary, Lenora, and Hannah Rand!

  7. Forgive Us
    By: The Many

From Gary Rand of "The Many..." "Forgive Us is a song of lament and confession. It’s a song to sing when the words don’t come; when our efforts to help, or do right, or even pray seem to come up empty. The songs says, “we don’t know how to pray here, stay here. All we hope is that you’re here.” It’s a song that resonates with Romans 8:26-27, where Paul speaks of the Spirit interceding for us when we don’t have the words." Learn More

  10. Come As You Are
    By: The Many

"Come As You Are” is from the album, Love > Fear, from The Many. It's a reflection on the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” The song is an invitation to all of us into God's loving embrace. We can come with our faith and with our doubt; we are welcomed with hopes and with fears. We can come deeply weary and wounded and carrying loads of baggage and God promises to never turn us away. We come as we are and are loved as we are. No small print. No exceptions. Learn More
